METHODOLOGY FOR SOCIAL VULNERABILITY INDEX TO FLOODS IN JEWISH AUTONOMOUS REGION

A.S. Livenets

Аннотация

The southern regions of the Russian Far East, including Jewish Autonomous region are among the regions most vulnerable to floods. Social vulnerability index to floods helps in identifying territories with the most vulnerable population, and social-economic parameters which influence vulnerability the most. In this study the most suitable method was chosen to calculate the index for JAR.
